Trace faults using available device status, link checks and connectivity tests. For example, compare wired and wireless access to isolate an unstable office connection. Optimization changes are agreed before implementation.

Office network deployment

Map connectivity for an office setup or move, including firewall, switches, APs and server/storage access. Agree addressing, segmentation and implementation sequence. Cabling works and any site contractors require separate scope and responsibility.

Agree the devices, coverage areas, access requirements and test criteria. Existing cable condition, ISP performance, equipment limits and site access may constrain the work. What to bring to the first conversation

Bring a floor plan if available, device/AP/switch models, user and guest needs, current symptoms and existing ISP details. Identify systems that cannot be interrupted and a suitable approved change window.

Questions before you begin

Can you configure an existing switch or access point?

We assess its model, software support, access and compatibility first. Reuse may be appropriate; replacement is proposed only when a defined requirement calls for it.

Can staff and guests use separate Wi-Fi?

Where supported, we can scope separate SSIDs and network segments with agreed access rules. Isolation must be tested against your requirements.

Will a new access point guarantee faster internet?

No. Wi-Fi coverage and internet capacity are different. We check the relevant constraints and test agreed outcomes without guaranteeing an ISP speed.

Can work happen while the office is open?

Some changes interrupt access. We agree a suitable change window and rollback approach before touching the production network.
